Landscapes is a writing group for all genres founded by writer Cody Cook-Parrott. Based off their popular co-working group Flexible Office, Landscapes aims to bring writers together for focused and consistent writing time, writing workshop with guest teachers, cave days where we go deep, and more!
While Landscapes is a queer led space all are welcome!

“I identify more as a visual artist but i definitely weave a lot of writing into my work. at first i wasn’t sure if this was the group for me since i wasn’t an author, but it wasn’t true! I have been using Landscapes as a container for me to come back to my own artist practice, which i had abandoned over the years. It’s helpful because it allows me to feel like I’m creating within this amazing, radical queer community even though, physically, I’m hanging out solo in a beautiful, rural place where this quality of connection can be hard to find. I’m completely grateful to have access to this space which is filled with creativity, amazing classes/resources, and connection.”

What happens in the zoom room?
We write! Together! In silence! We start by coming into the zoom room and have a prompt or question of the day to pop into the chat. A few people with their cameras on are called on to unmute and share what they're working on. Anyone can raise their hand and chime in to share. Then we write together. In the last five minutes we touch base again and then we unmute and say goodbye!
